[tex] \sqrt{2y} +3=11[/tex]

[tex] \sqrt{2y} =11 -3[/tex]

[tex] \sqrt{2y} =8[/tex]

square both sides

2y = 64

∴ y = 64/2 = 32

The answer is option D. y = 32
