Simplify the quantity x plus 6 over 12, all over the quantity x minus 8 over 10.

I think it should be 5(x+6) over 6(x-8).
Doing the same problem haha.

we have

[tex]\frac{(x+6)/12}{(x-8)/10}[/tex]

Remember that

The division is the inverse of the multiplication

so

[tex]\frac{(x+6)/12}{(x-8)/10}=\frac{x+6}{12} *\frac{10}{x-8}[/tex]

Simplify

[tex]\frac{x+6}{12} *\frac{10}{x-8}=\frac{5(x+6)}{6(x-8)}[/tex]

therefore

the answer is

[tex]\frac{5(x+6)}{6(x-8)}[/tex]
