Area of a circle = pie x r x r

where pie = 3.14, r = radius

r = 40m/2 = 20 meters

[tex]\begin{gathered} \text{Area of the circle = 3.14 x 20 x 20} \\ =1256m^2 \end{gathered}[/tex]
