in the slope intercept formula (y = mx + b) 
the m = slope
the b = y intercept

hope this helps :)

you have to rearrange the equation to match the formula

so.....

-y = 6x - 6

m = 6x/-y = -6 (you can just see it as 6/-1 you dont have to count the x and y)
b = -6
