moalr mass of CaCO3= 40g/mol+ 12g/mol+(16g/mol*3)

                                   =52g/mol+48g/mol

                                   =100g/mol

1 mol= 100g

0.5mol=x

by cross multiplication,

0.5*100gmol=x mol

x=50g
