I answer Claim: The hare that I expect to find in the first after the extended winter would be the brown hare.
Evidence: so we scientists know this because they are the same animal, but they both live in different climate if you want to see a brown hare you can see them in the spring and summer time, but if you want to see snow hare you’ll usually check in places that are cold.
Claim: I expect to find the white hare after the extended winter.
Evidence: From the picture, it shows that the white hare is in the snow-covered jungle.
Reasoning: If the white hare is in the snow surviving that means it is adapted to this season so extended winter doesn't make a difference for it. On the other hand, the brown hare is used to warm weather. So if the winter lasts longer it won't have a chance of surviving at all.
